The context of the comic book which is also that of the Web series:
At the beginning of the 21st century, the northern hemisphere was hit by an ice age: the meteorologists had been wrong on all counts: they had announced a gradual warming of Siberia and it was the opposite that had happened. The winters were getting harsher and harsher. Little by little, the multinational food companies had to abandon territories that had become unworkable.
While the northern hemisphere was cooling down, the southern hemisphere was facing the terrible consequences of the great southern ozone hole. Scientists had finally identified the mechanism of the phenomenon: air navigation was responsible for 45% of it. We had to resign ourselves to severely limiting air transport or else entire populations would be decimated by skin cancer.
It is in this context of great climatic and environmental concerns that the "Circumpolar 3 Continental" was born. (C3C), an immense highway capable of serving three continents - Eurasia, Africa, America - and replacing air freight with road transport...
The C3C bypasses the Arctic Ocean and connects Paris to New York by land, with connections to Beijing and Rio de Janeiro. The three Trans-Siberian branches of the highway meet at Zigansk on the Arctic Circle, in the heart of Siberia.
Other ramifications ensure the circulation of goods and people towards the Middle East and Africa, crossing ancient regions where the fires of distant or recent history are sometimes only waiting to be rekindled by a breath .... or the air moved by a truck...
The story goes back to the beginning of the C3C with "SuperZIL", an independent trucker who travels the roads of the world....
This trucker with a big heart, helping the widow and the orphan,
